This ECM has been unlocked. This will still need to be programmed to your vehicle during installation. But since this ECM is unlocked, the programming process is no different than installing a new ECM. This makes finding a repair facility to program this part much easier as it eliminates the hardest part of the pre-owned ECM installation process.
