Refund policy
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Importapart, LLC ("Importapart," "we," "us," or "our").
We want you to be happy with your purchase. We accept returns within 60 days of the date you receive your item, subject to the terms below. All items returned are subject to a 20% restocking fee unless you received the wrong item, the part was damaged in shipping, or the item is verified to be defective.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- In the same condition you received it
- In its original packaging
- With any warranty seals or tamper marks intact
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase
Items must come back in the same condition we shipped them. Items that have been modified, disassembled, damaged, or had warranty seals broken are not eligible for return.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, contact us at Importapartsales@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll respond within two business days with return instructions and a shipping address.
Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged in transit, or you received the wrong part, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right. We'll cover return shipping in these cases and either replace the part or issue a full refund. These items will not be subject to our 20% restocking fee.
ECU, ECM, and PCM Programmed Items
Programmed engine control modules are returnable only if they are defective, damaged on arrival, or do not match the part you ordered. Because each module is custom-programmed to the VIN you provided, we cannot accept returns for compatibility issues caused by an incorrect VIN, odometer, or part number submitted at checkout. Please double-check your information before purchasing.
If you selected "Don't need it programmed" at checkout, you confirmed that you or your repair facility have the ability to program the module yourselves. These items are sold as unprogrammed and are not eligible for return based on programming, compatibility, or fitment issues that would have been resolved by our programming service.
Return Shipping Costs
For standard returns (buyer's remorse, no longer needed, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping. For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, Importapart will cover return shipping.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at Importapartsales@gmail.com.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a different part is to return the original item and place a new order once the return is accepted.
Warranty
All parts purchased from Importapart are covered by a 60-day limited warranty against defects, starting from the date of delivery. If a part fails during the warranty period due to a defect, depending on the situation, we'll replace it or issue a refund.
What's covered:
- Manufacturing defects
- Parts that fail to function as described in the listing
- Internal mechanical or electrical failure under normal use
What's not covered:
- Damage from improper installation
- Damage from accident, misuse, or modification
- Normal wear and tear
- Labor, towing, rental car costs, or any other expenses related to installation, removal, or vehicle downtime
- Items installed in racing, off-road, or commercial applications unless specifically stated in the listing
- Items with broken warranty seals or removed tamper marks
How to file a warranty claim:

- Your order number
- A description of the problem
- Photos or video of the issue if possible
We'll respond within one business day with next steps. In most cases, we'll need the part returned for inspection before issuing a replacement or refund.
This is the only warranty Importapart provides. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all other warranties — express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed.
