91-94 Mercury Capri 1.6L Engine B6 DOHC Turbo 16 Valve Cover Timing Cover 0213
Valve Cover and Upper Timing cover assembly from a 1991 Mercury Capri XR2 DOHC Turbo engine. This was carefully removed and is in good used condition. All of the mounting points and threads are intact. Included are the chrome hardware hold down bolts, the oil cap, and the spark plug wire holders on the valve cover. The black paint finish is gone, the valve has been cleaned in a hot tank parts washer. The DOHC and 16-valve badges have some corrosion, but this valve cover still looks really good for its age and condition. The engine it came off of was very clean inside and did not have a bunch of sludge.
The timing covers are in good used condition. The metal inward timing cover plate has good paint finish and all of the threads holes are in good shape. The plastic outer upper timing cover is also in good shape only showing a few minor scratches in the plastic. The timing cover rubber dust seal is swollen in one area from oil getting on the seal, but the it can still be used once it's bolted onto the metal inner timing cover.

Fits 1991-1994 Mercury Capri XR2 Turbo DOHC as a direct replacement.
This will also fit Miata's with the 1.6 engine with modifications and also fits the B6 DOHC turbo engine found in the 88-89 Mazda 323 GT and GTX.

We ship to all 50 states. Most orders leave our Hazelwood, MO shop within 1–2 business days by FedEx, UPS, or USPS, and you’ll get tracking by email as soon as it’s on the way.
Heavy items like engines, transmissions, and body panels may ship freight — we note that on the listing when it applies. Alaska and Hawaii have a flat-rate surcharge calculated at checkout. We don’t ship to PO Boxes or outside the U.S.
Local pickup is available at our Hazelwood facility by appointment — call ahead to set a time.
Returns are accepted within 60 days. A 20% restocking fee applies to standard returns, but it’s waived if we sent the wrong part, it arrived damaged, or it’s verified defective. Inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 7 days in those cases — we cover return shipping.
Programmed ECU/ECM/PCM modules are returnable only if defective, damaged, or incorrect. Because each one is programmed to the VIN you provide, we can’t take them back for compatibility issues from an incorrect VIN, odometer, or part number — double-check before you order.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Every part carries a 60-day limited warranty against defects from the date it’s delivered. It covers manufacturing defects, parts that fail to function as described, and internal mechanical or electrical failure under normal use.
Not covered: damage from improper installation, accident, misuse, or modification; normal wear and tear; labor, towing, or rental costs; racing, off-road, or commercial use unless stated; and items with broken warranty seals.
